Background

Tops Restaurant approached us when their restaurant first opened with a website that they were very unhappy with after spending a large amount of money. They felt that the website didn’t fit the ethos of their restaurant and didn’t look the part. It was also brought to our attention at the time that Tops Restaurant couldn’t be found anywhere on the search engines – something that is important for many businesses to stay ahead of their competition.

What we did

Our task for Tops Restaurant was to help increase brand awareness by gaining top positions on SERP’s and building a new website using a limited budget. Using real time insights gathered via Raven Tools and Google analytics, we were able to reach out to their target audience and drive traffic to the brand new website. By providing in-depth analysis of incoming traffic, we were then able to understand where most of the traffic was coming from and how it ended up there. Using this information we were able to draw out the most effective plan to increase traffic and to appeal to the current audience.

What We Achieved

Since starting work on Tops Restaurant we have gone above and beyond to help rectify their sticky situation. Currently, all 10 of the agreed keywords are ranking in the Top 10 of Google’s search results page, in many cases maintaining a position above their biggest competitors. Traffic has continued to increase by around 25% per year in the competitive restaurant vertical market and brand awareness has increased, with many customers coming from competitors restaurants who may never have heard of Tops Restaurants without them being in top positions on the SERP’s.
